I believe in a comprehensive approach that integrates proven methodologies, cutting-edge technology, community involvement, and unwavering support for our youth. My policy embodies a passionate strategy aimed at fortifying the safety of our neighborhoods through strategic initiatives:
Tirelessly advocating for robust investment in programs designed to prevent youth involvement in crime. This includes crisis response programs in schools, initiatives to remove barriers to education and employment for youth aged 12-24, and facilitating access to critical services for hospitalized youth, disrupting the cycle of violence.
Supporting the integration of mental health initiatives within law enforcement, including the role of community service officers trained in mental health crisis response to better serve and support our communities.

As a Legislative Director and Deputy Chief of Staff in the California State Senate, I have worked to recruit and retain crucial public safety and law enforcement personnel.
I have been on the frontlines of our opioid epidemic, working with families, health experts, educators, and community partners. As a Trustee on our County Board of Education, I have supported opioid prevention initiatives that saved the lives of students in this district. I then helped write and pass legislation that protects against youth fentanyl overdoses and death across California.
As a School Board Member and Nonprofit Leader, I have pushed for green job training and apprenticeship programs to give the youth of our district opportunity and focus.
