IMPROVING WELL-BEING FOR WOMEN, CHILDREN, AND FAMILIES

When we support women in advancing their academic and career pursuits, we recognize the crucial role they play in shaping our society. This mission is personal for me. Like too many women, I've faced pay inequity and discrimination firsthand. I'm running for Assembly to tackle these injustices head-on, so our daughters can have the opportunities they deserve.

  • Santa Clara County currently has only one woman representing us in the State Assembly and five men. Elected representation of women is an important part of shifting these policy discussions in a positive direction.

  • Beyond just boosting women's representation in the State Legislature, this campaign is rooted in strengthening education for our children in California as key to long-term equity in opportunity, and my own path shows how education can be a game-changer.

Women deserve autonomy over our bodies and our lives. Especially in a “post-Roe” world, part of this right is having access to comprehensive healthcare services, including contraception and safe reproductive health access. Having scored a 100% rating from Planned Parenthood, I will continue to support women's reproductive rights based on principles of bodily autonomy, contributing to a society that values and respects the diverse needs and choices of women in matters of reproductive health.

As the only Democratic woman running for State Assembly in our District, I will continue to uphold these values while prioritizing early learning and childcare, strengthening education, and supporting our children and families - this is a responsibility I carry with both pride and purpose.
